I started my career as a UX Research Intern at Scottrade (acquired by TD Ameritrade). I didn’t know about UX - I was lucky enough to interview for an internship at Scottrade. Gina Balwalkar, my hiring manager, gave me a shot in the field. 💛 She is the best.

I fell in love with UX and found myself not just researching but facilitating design. I was leading brainstorms and sketching solutions based on user feedback. Eventually, I realized I was becoming a multi-faceted designer.

From there, I worked with a few agencies and consultancies - most notably, Cooper (acquired by DesignIt)… this is where I fell in love with leading teams and helping ICs develop their skills.

I’ve also collaborated with mentorship programs, schools, and certifications as a mentor, consultant, and Advisory Board member.
